VINEYARD---
WINERY----- CELLAR DOOR
St
Anne's makes a range of premium table wines rhine riesling, chardonnay,
cabernet sauvignon and shiraz and is also well known for outstanding
fortifieds and dessert wines. Established in 1972 by the McLean
family, St. Anne's has continued the tradition of well-tended vineyards
and alluring wines with two cellar door locations, at Myrniong and
Moama.
The
vineyard at Myrniong is nestled amongst the picturesque Pentland
Hills, a comfortable 50-minute drive from the heart of Melbourne.
This verdant and fertile valley with the nearby historical town
of Bacchus Marsh and the goldfields of Ballarat, sets the scene
not only for award winning wines but for relaxing escapes, picnics,
corporate functions and wedding ceremonies and receptions. The bluestone
cellar is built from the remnants of Ballarat's original gaol (1840s).
It is open for wine-tasting daily until 5.00 p.m.
TThe
vineyard "Perricoota" in Echuca-Moama is located on the
banks of the majestic Murray River less than one hour North of Bendigo.
The area steeped in history is well-known for its great attractions
such as the old Ironhouse Cooperage located in the Echuca Wharf
tourist precinct where you can witness the traditional trade of
the cooper laboriously producing premium oak barrels for the Australian
Wine Industry.
Both
St Anne's two facilities are great to visit so make sure you drop
in and enjoy our hospitality, great wines, culinary pleasures and
other attractions when you are travelling in their vicinity.
