Anne's Myrniong is located only one hour west of Melbourne on the
Western Freeway. Upon arriving you will find extensive parklands and
an abundance of landscaped gardens. The cellar door is constructed
from solid bluestone (common to the area) with open truss ceilings,
providing a distinct colonial theme. The property has enjoyed significant
growth in its 30 years; new additions include a double story barrelhouse,
cooperage and recently the construction of a 300-seat restaurant.
All buildings follow a similar design theme, utilizing solid bluestone
and open truss ceilings. The
Myrniong viticultural site is high and cool with Riesling the flagship.
Other plantings consist of Cabernet, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
A typical Myrniong growing season is long, with harvest in mid-late
April. This challenging climate provides low yielding, high quality
fruit perfect for the production of medal winning wines.
