What's going on?

The Flavours of Moorabool aims to showcase the flavours unique to, and loved by, the Moorabool Shire. It showcases the shire’s best produce, local wines, beers and ciders along with introducing new ‘flavours’ to our region.

From cheese to garlic, sourdoughs to jams, Shiraz to Chardonnay, there’s flavours on offer for every taste.

This year’s theme is around the popularity of craft beers and ciders! Come along to enjoy:

  • Join us for the Prickly Moses Experience: BUS Taste and Talk sessions with Andrew Noseda
In the VIP upstairs lounge we will discuss all things Craft Beer! Prickly Moses Director Andrew will bring different Malts and Hops, and explain the brewing process. You can ask questions and most importantly taste 5 different styles. Spots are limited so register at the bus on the day to secure your spot! Valued at $15, this Taste and Talk session is free with your FOM ticket.
  • Craft-beer and cider inspired cooking demonstrations by local chefs.
  • More entertainment highlights to be released soon.

With over 30 market stalls and food trucks, all-day live music, demonstrations and activities for the kids, the Flavours of Moorabool is a great day out for everyone.

The festival is a fund-raising event organised by the volunteers of the Ballan Autumn Festival Association, in partnership with St Anne’s Vineyards. Funds raised from the sale of tickets help cover the costs of the Association’s flagship event – the Ballan Autumn Festival – held each year in Ballan on the third weekend of March – which in 2017 attracted over 9000 people.
